Well Time to buy new rims.

Ok well the rims on my xB now are totally thrashed...I had some minor curb rash one rim that I was going to fix by powder them...Cheap easy fix. Well, I decided last week around Tuesday I wanted to go get my breaks checked...Somewhere in the process of that they decided to let some puttz take my rims off...It looks like he walked around smacking my rims with a ball ping hammer to loosen them up before talking them off -_-*. Well I didnt notice it right away so I know there is no chance of retribution so I started looking for the same rims to replace the messed up ones where I later found out these rims have been discontinued for some time...

So I was looking at these what do you guys think?

Eh. I dont like em but thats just my opinion. Sorry about what happened man. I dont let noone take off my rims. When i install my new ones all i want them to do is mount the tires on the rim then i take them home and put them on myself.

Yeah...I have no idea what happened there are dings the size of the tips of my fingers on 2 of my rims.

What would you guys suggest?

I want the rims to have black in it to mach my paint and im looking for a 5 spoke design.

Here are some questions to ask yourself.

1.How much am I willing to spend?
2.What size?

You have color and style down. Go to RB wheels P, they have ashitload of wheels for ur bolt pattern, 5x114. I dont know what are the preferred offsets for the 2nd gen but perhaps someone else that has a 2nd gen can help. I also am not diggin those enkeis. Remember that u can always get rims powdercoated/painted.

Im going to stick with 20" because I already have the Tires. I would rather get something already powder coated but that is true omar.

I tried looking on that site I couldnt find many rims... RBwheels.com right?

Work wheels and never look back. I wanted to say that but those are super expensive but worth it if youre gonna go air cause that would look sick!!

You also have to take this into account. Make sure they are the size you want. Dont just get rims because of the looks. Shopping for rims takes some time. I would figure out what "look" you want as in size/offset and then go for the looks. You cant got wrong.

Hey P, just a thing to think about. While u may have tires already, there are some positives of going wiith a smaller wheel. For starters, the wheels will be cheaper, when you need new tires they will be cheaper, and the ride comfort will be many times better with a smaller wheel. Oh, u also will have better mpg due to lighter wheels. I think u should be able to get a decent set for 1200, in fact, I've seen SSR professors go for 1200 in 18's on craigslist.
