| ^^^TO answer ur question..its soo u cak stick wide rims under ur fenders If u have wide tires on wide rims u wont be able to fit it anywhere...Example of why u would want strecthed tires...If thoses wernt strecthed..this guy wouldnt be able to fit it under his fender and he would either had to ger skinnier rims..and not be as low...And as far as saftey goes..I've had mild stretch one my rims for like 5 month..with no probs...Mine are 195/50/15 on an 8" wide rim...I would love to go to a 185 one day...and then slam the b and sit on the rim..Lolz. BTW..This is a sick site..It will be helpfull when I need some new tires...Thanks for posting!  | |

| Wow, I was looking at the wheels with 215/35/18 on a 9.5, I think Amber will stick with doing 225/35/18 on her 9.5. lol. Looks so sick tho. | |

| The hispanics here in AZ used to stretch the tires on their wide rims on there s-10 pics and blazers here all the time. Havent seen much of it in years now. | |

it started in Germany IIRC where the laws state that the treads must be "within the body work". People wanted wider wheels, do that's how they got around the law... I could be wrong though, but that's one story I read | |
