| I had totally forgot to update u guys, my engine got messed up, dammit.
j/k I ended up going with castrol syntec and for the most part is not a huge difference until I go over 70 mph, the car doesn't struggle as much as it used to. Actually, it rides pretty smooth going 80-90. Thanks for the help guys.

| i use my works Kendall GT-1 High Mileage it is designed to help you get the most from your vehicle by fighting against high mileage engine wear, leaking seals and reduced overall performance. it is a senthetic blend oil it recomend for cars over 75,000 i had custumer tell me there car stop smoking after using this oil. this should help u in deciding if syntethetic is the way to go
Synthetics Quiz
Do you frequently drive in stop-and-go traffic and other extreme operating conditions? Do you often take short trips? Do you go over 3,000 miles in-between oil changes? Does your vehicle consume oil, using half a quart or more in between oil changes? Do you ever drive in very hot or cold weather conditions? Do you ever tow or haul heavy loads with your vehicle? Does your vehicle have a fuel injection system, a turbocharger, intercooler, overhead cams, or multivalve combustion chamber? Does your vehicle have high performance tires? You may be interested in a high performance motor oil for your engine. If you answer "yes" to any of these questions, you should consider Full Synthetic or Synthetic Blend motor oil for an added level of protectio!

| Synthetic is the best insurance policy for your engine. Its better to start off putting it in your engine early on, but it is definitely a good investment to put it into your ride no matter what the mileage. We all know that SYN is more expensive, but if you want your ride to top 200K, and having a Toyota motor that isnt unheard of, but to ensure keeping your internals nicely lubed SYN is the BEST thing that you can do for your motor, hands down. | |
