Whats up Everyone?

So is there a reason to keep the forum? The only posts in here are for the weekly meets but everybody seems to rely on facebook. Are we paying to maintain/keep it up?

On another note whats everybody up to with their rides? I'm hoping to have my airride installed within the next month if a certain Ginger gets some free time. Any other mods are probably going to have to wait, we are currently house shopping and expect to move some time in April. Once we're settled hopefully wheels, apr tune, intake, exhaust, and possibly golf r front end. I really want to do something with the paint, either partial wrap on the roof or maybe even matte clear coat of plastidip.

hopefully get some things done on the car next month rims and seat covers are the 2 main things and also a cargo cover to cut back on some of the noise from the compressor

No we dont pay for the forum its free the domain name that has been long gone for a while is what we paid for.

Work has been a real bitch lately I've been working a lot of overtime becuase of the slow holiday season and since I dont get paid overtime it makes me the perfect choice for indentured servitude.

Ive been working on the datsun and rb25 lately. I bought tomei poncams, tomei timing gears ferra valves tomei valve springs and an oem rebuild kit. Im waiting for my new series 2 head to come in so I can have valve job done on it and start putting everything back together. Im planning on making something like 300-330whp when all is said and done. Im looking forward to not having any damn carbs anymore!

I wish I would have been way further along on the engine swap but you know how life goes sometimes. I got to work on my car for the first time since thanks giving haha.

Darwin surprisingly those wheels look real good on ur xb, but if you need money I'm sure scion peeps will swoop

I'm getting anxious of waiting and thoughts of not nodding the gti have crossed my mind. Also thought of selling the air setup and getting coilovers and a nice wheel setup but everythings on hold until March since were buying a house.

Depends, do you know if they have a clear coat? If they don't hit them with a mother's polish ball. That stuff works real good.

Oh i dont know if they had a clear coat..i know Enzo's wheels did have a clear coat on because he told me..so i would imagine mines did too since its the same manufacture.

Hmm, I know one of the SD guys still would polish his wheels with clearcoat with Mothers Polish. I don't know what effect the Polish ball will have on the clear coat though. If you decided to keep them long term you might be able to strip the clear coat and then just polish them. They would definitely be brighter, most clear coats tend to make the wheels look dull but they do protect against rust.
