| also if you can, you can just use the AUX connection, but you will have to manually change songs and stuff like that from your ipod, compare to using a deck with and actual Ipod jack, then you can control the ipod from your head unit. so it all depends on your deck. | |

if it does then all you need is an Aux cable. i really dont know if the 1gens come with that, i know 2gens do | |

| yeah the aux will work just fine... but like dspeedy said you would that to keep changing the songs from the ipod its self instead if the deck... see on my car my deck had sd card reader and usb flash drive so i just load songs to there and thats it .. | |
