| OK guys/girls, as you know,I have this and I am stuck as far as what I want to do with it. I know I want to lower it, maybe sway bars or other stuff, but my biggest thing is I'm stuck STYLE-wise. I was thinking of maybe a 2 tone? but then what other exterior touches do I do? I just need some suggestions. thanks in advanced!! | |

| I'm not really TOO interested in going FAST ( that would be WAY too much $ and in the end, it's just going to be FASTER not FAST)
I plan on making this more into a show car than anything, but it would also be my daily driver

| I have window visors on the way. I am considering the spring strut thing and as far as the wheels, I plan on running those for a while.
also, the head lights would be a good idea. but I would like to find a stock set in case I screw something up, I can go back to stock.
The tail lights would be cool too.
Basically I am looking at the BIG picture here. I dont want to buy stuff that I am then later going to take off because I dont like the way it looks.

| I know. I was kicking myself when I thought of that the other day. if I would have known my wife was going to end up with another car and I would be keeping this one, I would have just gotten a white one like I wanted | |

| Look wise, since its a pastel color, i would lean more towards the softer/ flat blacks whites or other pastel colors....no chrome. | |

| I'm not a fan of chrome. and I was leaning towards flat black or white as far as a 2 tone. something like this, but maybe in Vinyl I gotta play with photoshop to see what it would look like | |

I gotta play with photoshop to see what it would look like hell yea....a flat white or flat pearl would look bad ass. Light greys and charcoals also go good with pastels. Just experiment till you get the right color scheme down and go for it

| I was considering the bumper overlay too I think it would look good.
even a gloss pearl white would be cool I think, Like I said and you said, it is going to be hard finding a color to compliment the original color.
Thanks for the help though guys, Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

| Larry, I have learned the hard way, the way you build a show car is stance, wheels, then everything else. I would look into getting some coilovers. For some weird reason, i have seen coilovers for the 2nd gen for really cheap. Then once you have your stance, see how the wheels fit with the stance. Then go on to the rest of the car. Just my 2 pesos. | |

see I dont think coil overs are the direction I want to go in. IF I wanted to spend that kind of cash, I would just save up and go for a nice air suspension setup, which I might eventually do. I think as far as the suspension, I just want a nice drop, but something I can still drive comfortably. as far as the accents, I think flat black would be the direction to go in, since that's already the color on the pillars. If I were to do a differeny color, then I would have to de-black it, since I think 3 colors would just be too distracting.

I know what you're saying but airride is going to cost 1200-1800 for a good setup while i have seen coilovers sell for 5-400 bucks. vinyl is also a good way to go, inexpensive mod. And my car is on coilovers and is a daily driver. Pretty comfy compared to my old goldline springs.

| I'm going to have to check out your ride quality sometime then. I was thinking some NF210s for a while (while I save up for the air ride suspension) would be cool. BUT if the coil overs are cool, then I might just go with that. | |
