| Hey guys, hopefully someone can help me with this wheel question. I need to get my wife new tires for her 03 Toyo Matrix. I was thinking of just buying a set of wheels and tires that I could use for our next car, a 2nd gen xb. This will probably happen in the next 3 months so I'm planning ahead. I was thinking of getting some 17x8 rims. Hopefully I can find a decent set of universal 5 lug rims. My question is whether the 17x8's will fit a Matrix. I'm kind of looking at getting 40-42 offset, since that's what I've seen run on the 2nd gen's that looks decent. Any help will be greatly appreciated. | |

| It looks like u can go with a +35 offset with the matrix. So I guesss I'm going to aim for 17x7-17x8 with 35-40 offset. It's also gotta fit a 2nd gen xb. I already pm'd Tommy bout it. | |

| I have an 03 Matrix Xr. I'm running the Rota Subzeroes in 18x7.5 w/ 225/40-18s, on a TEIN S-tech drop and have no problems w/ rubbing. | |

| Cool, I plan on getting 17's cuz it's for the wife's car and it won't be lowered. Once we get the 2nd gen, I plan on doing a mild drop, probably the TRD's. | |

| 17s just dont look right on the 2nd gen xB. but they will ride better then 18s and up. | |

| I don't know, I saw a black one with bbs wheels and a roof rack that looked ppretty nicee on SL. Plus, if I got 18's or higher, they wouldn't last with the way my girl rides. | |
