2010 XD Project...

We currently have a 2010 XD Black Sand Pearl we purchased on 9-11-09, the following items listed below are the first phase of our project.... We are located on the East Coast and find it quite a challenge since there are a very limited number of custom shops in our area, this is the start of things to come since the Scion Brand has endless possibilities, phase two will start next year. We hope to hear from all and any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

1. Seibon Carbon Trunk Lid Style OEM Scion XD 2008 - UP
2. Scion xD 2008 : VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Terminator Hood
3. Scion xD 2008 : Carbon Creations Carbon Fiber Fenders OEM
4. Duraflex GT Concept Kit > Scion xD 08-09 Part Number: 104082
5. I will have the shop wet sand the vehicle and apply a very good Quality clear coat...

Well we can only see, that's why I am having a custom shop install...Why would Seibon Sell a OEM trunk/hatch for a Scion XD if it wouldn't fit...Life goes on!!! I love a challenge...

Well Seibon and VIS are supose to be the best, but who knows...Thats why a custom shop will install, not me...By the way he is from California and does awesome work!!! - - - to Customize or modify means to make to fit....

Just read your pm. I'm saying check gaps around lights bottom of hatch and bumper and at the top the gap from hatch to roof those are the problems u CANT ADD on to c/f . I'm not saying all are bad but iv seen some crap on cars

We shall take that chance, the vehicle is bought and paid for and the shop will do what is right to make it happen....I will pay whatever it take to make this project work.

I believe Mike Ma from M2 motoring had a cf hatch(dont recall brand) that had at least a 1 inch gap between the top of the hatch to the beginning of the roof of the car. My list of first mods if I wwere to start from scratch would be suspension then wheels. What are your plans for these two? And please post pics of the progress when you get it back, good luck with the mod.

I would like to drop the car about 2" and get some black rims, did the guy have any issues with the 1" gap near the roof?

Good luck with the build & def post some pics of the progress. Every CF piece seems to be different, so you never know. To me, Siebon seems to be one of the better ones out there. At any rate, let us know how it turns out, & welcome...//TJ
