| Hey guys looking to replace the stock muffler on the xb, any recommendations on a brand. i am for now just thinking of replacing the muffler the piping seams fine. on of those hack off old and weld on new jobs to get some sound a little performance. maybe a flowmaster or magnaflow, something with some sound but wont give me a headache when driving to and from meets. any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. do you think what works well on the tc will work well on the xb? | |

| a tC exhaust will probably not work on the xB. i'm sure you can make it work, but it wont be a straight bolt on piece. | |

| yea i was more talking about the performance aspect if a good brand muffler would be good performance for xb2. what brand muffler do you use? what i am gonna do is just cut old muffler off and take my welder and weld on new muffler in its place. just a little cheaper than buying one while in school. if i come up with the money ill get a axle back and work towards the front. dont race it but some hp and torq is always nice. what kind on exhaust system is good, as far as quality and performance? | |

| i've only had 2 exhausts on my xB, the TRD and the Strup. i liked the Strup a lot better then the TRD. | |

| your really gonna get little if any tq or hp off a bolt on exhaust. its mostly going to be on there for looks/sound and you might(if your really know your car) feel like better smoother throttle response.
a while back i was really contemplating getting the strup axleback for ash's xb when marioxd had them cause they looked nice but didnt jump on it.....so my vote goes to strup

| yea i keep forgetting that these are small little displacement motors that really need a turbo to scream. I am used to the v-8 with more to begin thats why i was asking. the sound is pretty much it the strup looks nice i am gonna check u tube to see is i can find a sound clip of it on the xb. I just dont want a pipe that will make my head ring while on a coastal drive with breezy you know. thanks for your input i really appericate any and all help. | |

| true that but i got get a new welder my broke. and a nice mandrel bender would be sick too. have you seen the pics of the stock oem piping with the mandrel bent strup tubing side by side. you dont realize the difference until these are right next to each other. the strup cat back ive seen as low as $310 not to bad. There are just some many ways to go.
Now, what up with this club you guys are not recruiting. So, How many mods to be in the cool crowd offically. Do you have to beat the fastest guy or something? Sorry for jumping off topic just curious.
Back to exhaust replacing the oem piping with the mandrel bent and a nice muffler is the ultimate package. Just don't want it to sound fart canny. lol

| yes we are not recruting at thr moment but you made it in before the cutoff. you can be stock for all we care. you dont have to beat the fastest guy because we really dont race unless its on the track legally. and we dont even do that often. | |

| hey I here the ish out of that racing all good but way to costly in cali. weather its the police or one of the many bad drivers you just never know what is going to happen. noone's car wants to see the ref. that is y i want a good quality exhaust that isn't too loud. Sound is good but to much sound is asking for an invitation to get rolled. I'm gonna save up and probably do that strup that is a nice system, but we will see. However, i am gonna hook up on those sprint lowering springs for starters. | |

| damn thats a nice pipe! looks pretty $$$$$ though. how many inches is the white one on the banner lowered. what up with this cut off, am i in or do i got do devil's bend 1st? lol hopefully 2 inches is noticeable and wont effect handling in negative way. And as far a pasquale's gen 3 im bring it to the next level with the gen ZR-1 and will see who fastest. | |

| i said you were in before the cutoff. the white one probably has at least a 2 inch drop. probably a little more. i'm not sure what the exact drop is. | |
