| Hey hey hey ....NERD is still pretty fresh...but i agree with the rest, like Nas once said hip hop is dead.....but not all of it. Like there are still few, mostly underground, artists that make hip hop actually mean something. Anyone can rap about money cars and girls....it takes the tru lyricists to flow right off the bat. Main stream hip hop might be dead but its shows like Rock the Bells and the San Diego Street Scene that keep it alive....along with all the other intimate shows that happen like at the glass house, garages and such.
Underground hip hop FTMFW!!!

| Yeah i never listen to the radio anymore. Its like the execs dont even care anymore. I dont get it. You got people trying to stay true to themselves but not even given the time and the day. I dont know how far this is gonna last before it will be called something else. | |

| true but not all main stream artists are this way....like 50cent, lil wayne, ect that put out stupid shit were never taken seriously. Its their business.....what ever makes them money....there happy.....but then you have others like Kanye, Jay-z, Nas that are innovators in the industry. Its mixed all around but it pretty much comes down to the individual artist. | |

| What does everyone mean by "underground"?
I personally go to mixtapekingz.com to get my mixtapes. I like DJ Smallz. Also any rapper compliation album. I also go to nobodysmiling.com because there is a really good forum board that is all about hip hop.
