Has anybody heard anything about Tanabe Coilovers? It seems everybody has Tein or Progress so I'm wondering if these are any good? I was planning on getting these and adding the monroe Air Shocks to the rear to drop the car more.

so the tanabe coilovers are just like the adjustable springs? you still use stock shocks/struts?

I've had those on my watched items but I'm going to have to pass due to no more funds. But I still got something for the box. Coilovers will be next.

go for it, i'd pay 300. I've seen complete sets for 400-500 on SL or Club XB. His have a bad rear shock so you'll need a new set. I would buy them and get the monroe air adjustable shocks. can't beat $65 bucks.

You'll go ultra low if you get the monroe adjustable shocks, even with the tanabe coilovers.

I have the Tanabe Sustec Pro Type II's on my RS 1.0. They are much softer than the K-Sports and HKS Hypermax Coilovers. They are basically KYB struts and shocks with threaded collars and Tanabe springs. I am not a fan of K-Sports. They are way too "clanky", but are good if you just want to slam your box.
