| Rather be able to see the intake manifold than a header up front | |

| Going up in the air tonight or tomorrow. I guess I will get it all done at one time. Even bought high temp paint for the brakes. Wish me luck. | |

| Ok so header is on, now I have a question. I have tried to let the it sit and learn all the new shtuff that was done and come down to around 500-750 rpm idle but it won't. It is sitting at 1700-2k. I have disconnected the battery twice now and still climbs up to around 2k. Last time I did it I noticed that the header was red hot after idling for about 20 mins. That thing shouldn't get that hot should it? | |

| is your throttle cable being pulled on?
Are you throwing CELs?
youre obviously running way to lean if your header is glowing. | |

| No and No. Everything apears to be ok. I am going to pull it aprt again and see if I missed something, but I already went through and clean every connection and checked everything I did. It just doesn't want to learn the new stuff. It starts at around 1k rpm and that is normal for me when its cold and just slowly starts creaping up to 2k. | |

| Hmmmmmm now that I think about it that cant be a ECU problem if the rpm's are fluctuating the gen1 inst fly by wire. If it was lean the egine would just run hotter not at a higher RPM. | |
