Need some Asquad help

Subject: Need some Asquad help Wed Jul 07, 2010 9:16 pm

So I just bought a pool table and need some help in moving it. Luckily it's not too far and I have access to a truck with a lift gate. Bad part is getting it out of the current place and into my house. I am thinkin of moving it this Sunday. I am going to be in need of some "big" (hint, hint) people to help move it and/or people with ideas as to how to move it. I am kinda thinkin of unscrewing the legs then tilting the top onto a flat furniture dolly or two then moving it slowly to the truck. Oh and there will be carne asada and drinks waiting at home(hope that's enough of a bribe, lol)

yea im pretty sure there no problem on takeing the legs off.

tkaing the legs off should be a big help, althou sometimes the legs dont come off so easy on some funitur things.

Yeah the legs come off, thats how they took it in but had 8 guys carrying the table top. I'm trying to make it easier than that by using small flat bed dollys. As for when, I was kinda hopin Sunday but it doesnt matter if its a different sunday, i already paid for it anyways.

if u buy those straps to move furniture that would help u too those things work good.. a lot easier i'd say takes 2 guys to move those big a$$ subzero fridges that weight over 500lbs..

I have some. Only thing is not sure 2 guys plus the pool table fit in the doorway.

oh snap you dont have a double door? how bout the back door? is it a sliding door?

Ok so I am renting a uhaul for Sunday morning at 9am. I am hoping to start as soon as 9am so we can get back home and watch the world cup final and munch on some carne asada and drinks. Please let me know if you're coming for sure so I know how much food to buy. I already have a few relatives coming over to lessen the load. Thanks y'all.
