This is a true story and it happend and this came from one of my co-workers. Please be careful out there.

Eric almost got carjacked last night for his new GTI.

He went to bring fish food to Linda's for his fish & his light for air in tires came on so he stopped at a gas station right by her house.

He said a car was just kinda sitting there, he thought that was strange but went inside to buy a drink. He said when he looked some guy was looking at his car.

I guess when his car is off the stereo light is still on so he thought maybe he was looking at that. He goes to put air in the tires & the guy is talking to him. "nice car, where'd u get it, etc.."

"My friend likes ur rims he wants to talk to u about them"

Eric said when he said that he got a chill up his back & said he had to take off

"Give me ur keys & walk away!"

Eric & Wayne had talked about stuff like this before & Wayne said if it ever happens u say yes & throw ur loose change from ur pocket on the floor, guy will look down thinking its the keys & then u punch him.
Eric did that, the guy fell back onto the ground.
Thank goodness the other people in the car didn't do anything, he said their car was facing out so maybe they couldn't see what was going on
He came home & his hand was still shaking.
He said the whole time the guy had his hand buy his pocket so he didn't know if he had a gun/knife
Young Hispanic kid, hat on sideways, sweatshirt w/ $ signs all over it. Car was a black Honda but unfortunately Eric didn't get the plate #
Eric said that he could've been killed & no one would've saw. The air thing is in a spot where the gas station employee can't see you.

How scary! Oprah always says follow ur gut. He said right away he got a wierd vibe from the car & the guy.

When I read our local newspaper that comes on Sat. Philadelphia St in Chino is always mentioned. They list the 911 calls.

Dam that sucks, I def need to get me a gun. My neighbors were victims of a home invasion robbery last summer at gunpoint. a bunch of them got pistol whipped.

Well...Its almost "common sense" Don't go to a place at night that looks "shady"...

I would NEVER go to a Gas Station where there arn't anyother people around and looks Sketchy around etc...

SO, yea maybe its just me I judge the area for "safety factor"....Before entering it.

have you looked at most gas stations? the air fill thing is ALWAYS way the fuck somewhere else. and damn, even a gun would not really have helped in this situation, unless he was carrying it on him, which really is not a good idea if you do get pulled over. and having it in the car, well you can see where that would not have helped...so yeah...

for home defense though, that's a different issue.

Wow reading this gave me chills. i have done alot of bad shit durring my time at war and even then i still had the shakes and shock of what just happened, so i really know how he felt. Having a weapon on you i think its againts the law in the first place, but even if something was going to happened and you pull your piece out first and fire, guess who would be charge for murder, so in this country everything you do always comes with a consequence (sp?) but if it came to the safety of my wife you best believe i will pull my piece first no matter of the consequence after.

Ok, here it is from the other side of car jacking.

Never park anywhere the view of you will be blocked and dont leave ur car running to run in really quick. Dont try an be a hero either, thats what usually will get you hurt. Park by the front door of the convence store you are going too. Most air pumps at gas stations are on the other side of the lot, wait til the moring before getting air.

I used to do alot of dirt, I have GTA on my record, I have been on the stupid end of the action. Just be safe out there and be careful about where you are going.

man i am for sure gettin my concealed gun permit, although i perfer to stap people like that. grrr Everyone be super careful and god bless pay special attention to your surroundings no matter where desperate times equal unpredictable situations.

did you forget what state you are in? because it's damn near impossible to get a CCP. not even AO can help you get one....there is a website where you can check how many CCPs arou out by county, and in Riverside county, there are something like 4.

Dude, totally feel for him. Awhile back I was washing my car at night(dumb idea but i was summer and effin hot) and there were people washin their cars too but I treat my car like a baby so I was the last one there. Some big dude pulls up in a Pontiac and starts shootin the breeze with me about my car. I love when people ask me about my car so I think nothing of it. But then he started asking for money, then if my car is good on gas, then if i thought it could make it to Kentucky without breaking down. RED FLAG.

Right then I was like fuck this. Started picking up my car wash stuff and putting it into my car. Right as I was getting done doing that, I see the fucker reaching for my door handle. I yell "WTF are you doing!?" and push him as hard as I could. All he does is stumble back and almost trip because he was such a big dude. He had actually opened my door a bit when he reached for it. Lucky for me pushing him gave me enough time to get in and drive away as he started yelling.

I'm pretty sure he didn't want to go through with it because dude was huge. If he really wanted my car he could have knocked me out and took it. Lookin back I should have just let him have it cuz he could have had a gun, but no one touches my baby

yeah eff that, i aint going to no shady places at night now. LOL

Yeah fer ser don't lol. What's funny is the place I was washing my car at was well lit, in a nicer side of town, and even close to police station! Just goes to show some idiots don't care...

I am thinking about getting my ccr since its so easy out here to get one. I always said I want to get a live hand grenade. Then if someone tries to jack me pull it out, pull the pin and ask if they still want the car. LOL

yeah, i got yelled at alot when i told the girl i was seeing at the time what had happened. "why did you do that!? are you crazy?! whay if he shot you?! dammit ian!" blah blah blah lol

you did what you had to do man good thing you must have the luck of the Irish on your side maybe start carrying a utility blade on you
