SO my G/F and I wanted to see the Hype of Sonic Drive-thru today!

Wait Time at Staging Area...lol...1 hour & 15mins Shocked

.

Service was Really fast!

Our Order...

Me:

Sonic Burger w/ works & fries - Large Size w/ Diet Dr. Pepper

& Reg. Size Popcorn Chicken

Result -

Sonic Burger was NOT that great, Burger meat was ok pretty flat
NOT the greatest Burger...I think McD's has a better tasting Burger.

Fries ok pretty decent..tasted good pretty crunchy

Popcorn Chicken Very good! cheers

My G/F order:

Bacon CheeseBurger Toaster she said she enjoyed it a lot!

fries said they were fresh not the greatest

Overall...it did NOT live up to the Hype & waiting over an hour at a Staging Area to get in.

I think you were probably expecting the greatest burger ever. Sonic is good but I wouldnt wait an hour for it. Ill just wait till the hype wears off.

sonics made me sick lol last time I ate it.

If you guys want the best burger that you have ever tasted, you have to go to Ocean Beach to a place called Hodad's. That place has THE best burgers in the world. But you have to get it with bacon cuz they make the bacon into chopped patties 1/4" inch thick! Actuall everything they have there is the bomb.

I've herd of this magical place

wth you wait an hour and fifteen minutes for sonics? woww! you gotta get the chili cheese tots! they're bomb. i just went to sonics for the first time about 2 months ago too. i thought it was pretty good... i'd probably go there more often if there was one closer...

i love in-n-out and fatburger and fuddruckers i wish they would make a in and out like soinic is layed out that woudl kick ass

You guys just getting Sonics over there? We have them here. I have one about a 4 miles from my house. I agree they are ok, not a In and Out, but ok. Their onion rings are pretty decent though.

there's been one in anaheim and the high desert just got one a couple months ago, other than that idk?

I like Rally's Burger's like 50times better!...And their seasoned fries are da shit!!!

I wish they had a chain of burger places called "B-Bop's" here in Cali....They had some good ass Burger's!!

Hodad's is that place like kinda old i think i saw it on a episode on Drive Ins and Dives on the Food Channel is it is OMG just looking at them made me wanna order the whole Menu

For me with sonis it's all about the shakes. Try those out.

Yeah, but same thing at Krispy Kreme Donuts when it opened up near my house. My cousin waited for 2 hours to get DONUTS. But they're the best donuts (at least the original glazed ones) you'll ever have. Don't think you could say that about Sonic's...

Rallys is pretty good too. I would love to try that HoDads. Sounds damn good.

IN N OUT is WAAAAAYYYYYYY better. I have no intentions of hittin up sonic anytime soon.

See. Nancy knows what Im talkin bout. Hodads is the best place. And I too saw it on Diner, drive-ins and dives on the food network. Thats why I tried it out. And the reason I keep going back and taking everyone I know is that they have the best burgers I have EVER tasted.
