xbox 360?

So got a xbox 360 from pas and was wondering if anybody has had theirs modded/flashed and if there's drawbacks?

if you get on xbox live with modded xbox you will be banned.

I really don't care much for xbox live and paying 6-7 bucks a month to play against other people. I have a wii to do that and even then I don't use it for that. I hit up some dude that supposedly mods it so that xbox live is not a problem but what I wanted to know was what exactly are the benefits of modding it. I was going to do it to my wii and it came with 1,000 old nes,snes, etc. games pllus 200 current titles and the harddrive it came with was capable of burning any game and keeping it in the hard drive, up to 500 games. Just not sure about dropping 200 for all that.

If you dont plan on getting online with it, then you will be good to go. I still have 2yrs of warrenty on mine, so I wont mod my box yet. Maybe after the warrenty is up I will, Cause I plan on get the new xbox slim soon. If you modd it, you will basically be able to get any game you want flashed onto the hard drive for hours of gaming fun. lol.
