I just read this on Scionlife and if there is anything you can do to help out please do so. Mike and the crew of Balliztik are an amazing group and support the entire Scion Community. This past Thursday Night, a very close friend of Balliztik's own Rookie (06 BSP with Zebra interior) crashed into a block wall at a Chevron station in Orange and passed from her injuries. She WAS intoxicated... Rookie has informed me that the family doesnt have the money to cover funeral costs so they are organizing a car wash in her memory.. I would like to show the family as well as the general public how scion owners unite and help out...... I will post all info as soon as it is available.. Balliztik members can be quite a rowdy bunch but EVERYONE understands the Kartel Golden Rule... If you drink, i get your keys... and you dont get them back till I feel that you are ready... This was a tragic example of somones life being taken away due to driving while intoxicated... And she was only 21..... RIP Sandra!!!

Hey Kirby, I don't know if other AS members would be willing but can we collect some cash to donate to the family at this Wednesday's Chino Hills Meet? Time for me right now is difficult due to end of year stuff at the school but I would be more than glad to donate cash or write a check.

Okay... Heres info on where you can help out. The Car Wash has been scheduled for this Saturday at Orange High School 525 N Shaffer St . Orange, CA 92867. They didnt give me a time but im assuming it prob starts around 8am. Also, if you cant make the Wash, You can donate from any Wells Fargo bank to acct #7810059415 Sandra Velazquez Memorial Fund.. All donations will be given to the parents to offset the costs of burial and such. Thank you so much for your kind words and offers of help... You all ROCK!!!
